Why donate to Polaris
Why Give to Polaris?
At Polaris, we are charting a different course for education. We believe that learning should inspire curiosity, build character, and prepare students to navigate a changing world.
But delivering this exceptional experience requires a community effort. Unlike many educational institutions, Polaris operates with 0% government funding. We rely entirely on tuition and the generosity of donors like you to bring our mission to life.
Every dollar you give directly shapes the daily experience of our students and teachers.
Where Your Investment Goes
When you give to Polaris, you help support the people and experiences that make our school a special place to learn and grow. Your generosity supports three important areas of school life:
Supporting our Exceptional Teachers
Our teachers are the heart of Polaris. They don’t just teach curriculum; they mentor, inspire, and innovate. Taking the time to know their students, nurture their strengths and guide them through challenges.
Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of this work. Your support helps us provide fair wages, professional development and resources teachers need to support the children under their care.
Enriching Learning
A Polaris education goes far beyond standard textbooks. We focus on hands-on, experiential learning, including movement and a rich arts and music program.
Your donations directly funds classroom materials, specialized supplies and unique programs which are interwoven into the curriculum such as the school’s Nature Connect program, Strings program, Choir, Circus Arts, Fencing and more.
Making a Polaris Education More Accessible
We want families from a wide range of backgrounds and financial circumstances to feel that Polaris is a possibility for their children. Diversity only strengthens our entire community. Our tuition adjustment program helps make this possible, but the need for support continues to grow.
Your generosity helps more children learn and thrive at Polaris, while strengthening the diverse community we are building together.
The Power of Independence
Because we receive no government funding, Polaris possesses a rare and powerful gift: complete educational independence.
We are not bound by rigid, slow-moving bureaucratic mandates. Instead, we are free to adapt our teaching methods, pivot toward cutting-edge educational research, and focus 100% on what is best for our students.
Your gift doesn't support a bureaucracy, instead it funds freedom, and educational excellence.
Ready to Make a Difference?
Your gift, no matter the size, is an investment in the future. You may be supporting a future leader, an innovative scientist, an organic farmer, a creative programmer, an inspired teacher or a skilled artist.
Join us in shaping what education can be.
