Admissions Process

Admissions Process:

Step 1: Complete the Admissions Inquiry Form below to receive the Admissions Package.

The Admissions Application must be completed and returned along with all relevant or supporting documents requested (please refer to the admissions checklist on the application).

Kindergarten: child must be 4 years of age by December 31st.
Grade 1: child is 6 years of age by the end of the previous school year. Note, that there is no exact cut off date, each child will be assessed to see if they are ready to enter Grade 1.

Step 2: Interview with Class Teacher(s)

Once your Admissions Application is received it will be forwarded on to one of our class teachers. They will contact you to arrange for a time to meet with you and your child. This may be done on the same day or separate days. This meeting provides you with an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about our program(s) and educational approach to ensure that this is the right fit for your family. It also provides the school with an opportunity to learn more about your child to see if we are able to meet your child’s needs and your expectations.

Depending upon the time of the year, new students may be asked to visit the class for one or two days as well.

All Admissions Applications then go to the Circle of Teachers, where a final decision regarding acceptance and grade placement is made.

Note, the application fee of $180 for new students ($80 for siblings) is due before/on the day the interview takes place.

Step 3: Financial Contribution and Enrollment Contract

An appointment will then be arranged to complete the admissions process. At this meeting, the enrollment contract will be reviewed, along with the family’s financial obligations and payment schedule.

Note, that a 10% deposit per family is due at this time. The first monthly payment is due on August 1st, 2021.

Financial model and Fee Schedule can be found here. financial_model_and_fee_schedule_2021_2022.pdf

Our School also has a Financial Adjustment Program to ensure all families seeking to be a part of the Polaris Community has that opportunity.
