This family friendly event will have a variety of children's and craft activities, including the popular crystal boat, cookie cavern, and beeswax candle dipping just to name a few. There will be a puppet show, a holiday marketplace, music and delicious homemade food. All proceeds go to support Polaris' accessible to all financial model.

*A MEADOW IS A NEIGHBOURHOOD

Through poetic invitations to listen and create. we will explore and imagine, and then get our hands dirty, by planting micro-meadows where future generations of people and pollinators can thrive. Those who participated in this installation at the Ottawa Children's Festival, are invited to follow the journey of their seed balls,  and plant them onsite at Polaris, creating a native garden for people, animals, bees and butterflies to enjoy.

Seedling Sale & Fundraiser – Growing Together!

Mark your calendars! On May 31st, during our annual Sunshine Fair, Polaris is excited to launch its first Seedling Sale Fundraiser!

Polaris has partnered with a fantastic local organic farm to bring you a wide selection of organic vegetable, herb and flower seedlings - just in time for summer planting.

Even better? Every purchase helps us grow a more inclusive school for all. 15% of all sales will be donated to the school’s Assistance Program, helping ensure that all families in need of an alternative education have that option.

This is more than just a plant sale — it’s a chance to support local agriculture, the Polaris Community and bring home some amazing seedlings for your garden.

Additionally, Ottawa Farm Fresh, will also donate 15% of any new CSA Basket subscriptions. Click here to learn more.
