Occasional Teachers

Specialty Teachers

​Polaris School and Centre accepts applications for specialty teachers throughout the year. Individuals interested in working with us for the school year or those interested in coming in to work on projects or host workshops are welcome to apply. Some examples are listed below;

• Handwork (working with natural materials, knitting, felting, weaving, sewing, etc)
• Woodworking
• Movement, Circus Arts
• Painting  and more...

The ideal candidates will have prior teaching experience and be familiar with or have an interest in Waldorf education. 

Hours will vary, projects or workshops could range from between 2 to 8 hours and be divided over various weeks or the full school year. Please contact us for more information.
