 Career Opportunities

Currently seeking for the 2025-2026 School Year:
  • French (or other foreign language) Teacher (click for details)

Occasional Teachers

We are always looking for individuals to add to our supply teaching list for the kindergarten, grade school and outdoor nature program. If you are interested please send your CV and a cover letter to [email protected].

Specialty Teachers

Polaris School and Centre welcomes applications from inspired specialty teachers throughout the year. We are especially interested in connecting with circus artists, movement educators or those specialized in painting who bring creativity, rhythm, and joy to their work with children.
In Waldorf education, circus arts and movement play an important role in supporting the healthy development of the child—nurturing balance, coordination, courage, focus, and confidence. These activities also encourage collaboration, imagination, and a joyful connection between body and spirit.

We invite individuals with a background in any of the following to reach out:
  • Circus Arts (acrobatics, juggling, balance, clowning, aerial, etc.)
  • Eurythmy or Creative Movement
  • Woodworking
  • Painting and other artistic disciplines
Ideal candidates will have prior teaching experience and be familiar with, or have a genuine interest in, Waldorf education and its holistic approach to child development.

Hours and commitments are flexible - projects and workshops may range from 2 to 6 hours per week and can take place over several weeks or the full school year.

If you are interested in collaborating, please contact us. If you know of someone who you think would enjoy this opportunity please send this to them.

If interested, email a letter of intent and your resume to [email protected].

We look forward to hearing from you!
