Kindergarten Teacher (Fridays) 2024-2025 School Year
Polaris School and Centre is currently seeking a part-time kindergarten teacher to lead the class on Fridays for the 2024-2025 school year. Working closely with the Lead Kindergarten teacher, the individual works to create a joyful, safe, warm, and loving atmosphere for the children. Working with the daily rhythm which has been established, the Friday kindergarten teacher will observe and supervise the children during free play (indoor and outdoors), lead circle time activities, and story.
The ideal candidates will have prior ECE teaching experience and be familiar with or have an interest in Waldorf education. Preference will be given to those with Waldorf training and/or Waldorf teaching experience.
We are looking for talented and motivated individuals who enjoy working with children, teaching and who work well in a collaborative manner.
