Sat. April 1st at 10 am: Finding Shelter
All Children play "house" in many forms as an archetypal task. We will discuss how to support children in their foundational task of finding warmth and safe shelter in their bodies, with us as caregivers, and as they venture out into the world. Registration Required: Click Here to Register
Sat. April 29th 10 am: Seeking Connection
Being connected to ourselves, to others and to the world around us is the cornerstone of brain maturation, self-development and healthy relationships. How can we foster a sense of connectedness within the child that supports healthy development in all the domains, including social-emotional, intellectual and spiritual? Registration Required: Click Here to Register
Sat. June 3rd 10 am: Bring in Wonder
It is a natural state for children to be present in the moment and to engage with the world with awe and wonder. How can we capture their imaginations and keep this sense of wonder alive so that they can develop a keen sense of warm interest as they grow older? We will discuss how our presence, allowing children time to be children, free play and creative activity can help. Registration Required: Click Here to Register
The intention of these workshops is to support adults in their work with young children (birth to 7) by bringing developmental insights and practical manifestations gained through Ms. Osman's experience in Waldorf early childhood education. It is through connecting with other parents, educators and caregivers that we foster community.
